The challenge
All gas meters have one thing in common: Safety is the top priority. Even if the sealing surface webs are narrow, all of the flat gaskets must be permanently gas-tight and comply with the required approvals:

DIN-DVGW (DIN 3535-6: Flat gasket materials based on synthetic fibers […] for gas fittings)
VP 401 (Gaskets for higher thermal stresses in threaded unions and flanges in connection with gas meters and pressure regulating devices)

Handles gas safely – AFM 30, the time-tested quality standard for flat gaskets with very good pressure resistance and adaptability, as well as great mechanical-thermal strength. With approvals for all levels of VP 401. Safety reserve in case of fire (650° C, 30 min) provides added confidence.
